I Am BBW Lover and Chubby Chaser Indeed

Just recently at an outdoor cafe, as I got an eye full of a most delightful treat that wasn’t on the menu walk by, my friend Tommy called me a chubby chaser. To which I responded “What me? No way!” But he insisted with vigor and laughter: “You are a BBW lover dude”.

BBW stands for Big Beautiful Woman, I actually thought it was an acronym for “Big Boned Woman.” His comments made me think and the entire incident was a real wow moment for me. I couldn’t stop mulling over his assessment of my female preferences. Was my ideal body type in the opposite sexy Rubenesque? Did I subconsciously or even intentionally select women that were pleasantly plump? After getting home I grabbed a pencil and paper and started a list. I listed all the women I dated and put a check mark next to their name if they would be considered a BBW. My results were plain as day : I like FAT girls.

How did this happen? Sure I have always liked my women with curves and a nice healthy rump. Admittedly those “just right” child bearing hips do get me swooning, but how did I become a plumper humper?

I suspect that my acceptance of obese women may stem from being forced as a child to watch Delta Burke’s acting on television, just kidding. Seriously I simply appreciate a full-figured female physique. So I decided to conduct an extremely non-scientific experiment. I had Tommy help me with my experiment by allowing to select pictures of ladies and email them to me. The pictures were of women paired off, forty females in total in a head to toe comparison. The result was again shocking I was indeed infatuated with curves even obese representations of them. I was secretly hoping to shatter Tommy’s very accurate take on my girl taste but alas he was proven correct.

If I were given the choice between a voluptuous woman or a thin body frame I chose the more curvaceous version every time. Tommy laid into me, “You are a certified Chubby Chaser!”

My response, “Who wants to be with bones!”

When you select a couch you pick the one that is plush and comfy, right? The same principle applies to picking a bed you want a nice plump bed that you look forward coming home to. Well I look forward to feel of a woman with meat on her bones. I have to come to grips with that fact and can not deny it. No matter how much my peers ridicule me for my choice it is something I should be proud of. I don’t like the thin look it just isn’t appealing to me.

And it seems as though I am not alone, a simple Google search of the term BBW yields 25 million results. In addition BBW niche specific dating sites are gaining more popularity as it has become apparent to entrepreneurs that big people need love too. I see a new curvy revolution on the horizon, a new era where hips will rule and a little belly will be a badge of honor. The future belongs to the fatties my friend.

So next time you see a plus-sized plump girl give her an extra look and welcome yourself to the club of Chubby Chasers my friend.

Any minute now, I expect you to bust out the chorus to “Fat-Bottomed Girls”…(LOL)!

  2. Dennis RosatoNo Gravatar says:

I was tempted while writing the piece my friend tempted…tempted. Thanks for reading.

  3. HopefulNo Gravatar says:

I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but there seems to be something somewhat disrespectful in this post towards heavy women. I’m hoping you didn’t intend it that way.

Perhaps it’s that your friend was “laughing”.
    Perhaps it’s your denial.
Perhaps it’s your use of “plumper humper”.
Perhaps it’s the use of “future belongs to the fatties.”

I don’t know any heavy woman that likes to be referred to as a fattie. Yeah…I read disrespect.

    • Dennis RosatoNo Gravatar says:

Tongue and cheek and a little honesty will always ruffle the feathers of the thin skinned and scarred. I think you might be afflicted by realism my dear.

I have oily skin, I’m hairy and rather homely there I have said it.

Remember the only thing off limits in writing is making fun of sick children.

      • Chandra KillmanNo Gravatar says:

To be honest, as a BBW myself, I was at first a little appalled at plumper humper, until I really thought about it and then it cracked me up!

Its the same principle as a woman can call another woman bitch, but heaven help the man that has that much nerve!

Thanks for being straight and honest with yourself and your readers. Trust me, it shocked me as much to realize I was a BBW who had actually started liking what I seen in the mirror, just as much as its shocked me to learn that men in our society might actually like the junk in my trunk!

    • bbwloverNo Gravatar says:

I agree. My darlin’ chubby buttkin hates any word that has “fat” in it.

for some reason, she does like “chubby buttkin”.

go figure. when men figure out women, men will be gay. it’s SUPPOSED to be that way.

just a FYI to all you guys out there that like the same kind of woman I do….

anytime past 45 they get too lazy for sex. fun when young, granted, but two wives and several GF’s have proved to me that chubby has a short shelf life.

and don’t count on much housekeeping, either. this is just from my own narrow experience with less than 50 women.

      • fatbutnotlazyNo Gravatar says:

clearly a narrow experience. i’m 50 pounds overweight and 46 years old and my man and i make love multiple times a day often and always in excess of 7 times a week – unless i’m menstruating. i do the shopping, dishes and laundry, in addition to cooking for myself – he cooks for himself. i also ride a bicycle 15 miles a day – and have for 3 years – and do 40 minutes of yoga 5 times a week. people are lazy because they are lazy, not because they are fat. overweight does NOT equal lazy anymore than thin equals energetic. :0) my advice: if you need/want frequent sex, look for a woman who seems to do everything on fast forward – it’s an indication of a high energy level. but be warned, that kind of passion is felt in every interaction, not just sex! :0)

  4. HopefulNo Gravatar says:

Ah…so you did intend to be disrespectful. Your blog…you can be as disrespectful to others as you please. I can choose no longer read.

    • Israel LagaresNo Gravatar says:

      Hopeful,
This is not about disrespect. It’s about being real. If Dennis is proud of the fact that he likes bigger women, then great for him. He was in no way disrespecting fat women or people. He is fat himself and says in the post that he likes them. I don’t understand why you insist on the fact that he is being disrespectful.

    • Israel LagaresNo Gravatar says:

I also forgot to mention that I do value you as a reader and we are all entitled to our own opinions. πŸ˜‰

  5. Dennis RosatoNo Gravatar says:

The post touted the larger female figure as more desirable..how is that disrespectful? You don’t care for the terms utilized in the post, okay fine you insist on deeming it disrespectful..fine.
The “future belongs to the fatties” is perfectly fine as well and I can say it because I am a fatty and it is my free will. I am fat, I embrace my fatness, stare it down, live in reality and I love the term “fatty” got a problem with that? Don’t want to read the blog any more fine..your loss. Remember to be truly intelligent you must be exposed and read things that are a challenge and not necessarily comfortable. If I took your attitude I would’ve ditched school and watched cartoons my entire life. Realism and a sense of humor will lead to a long and prosperous life I am quite “hopeful” you will realize that sooner than later.

p.s.- “Plumper Humper” just sounded cool.

    • AngelNo Gravatar says:

Dennis, it may be a year later but I was just directed to this post by a link I saw in one of my bbw groups on Facebook. I gotta say, I am a big curvy girl and I wasn’t in the least bit offended by what I read. In fact, it made me smile! I thank God for guys like you out there and hearing the story of your epiphany was entertaining…I’d go out with you anytime! wink wink

    • bbwloverNo Gravatar says:

some plump women have a HUGE chip on their shoulder, another trait I forgot to mention.

      • fatbutnotlazyNo Gravatar says:

again, very narrow experience, my friend. perhaps you should venture outside your preference and date a thin woman or two (or 50). plenty of them have huge chips as well. anger is at the root of any ‘huge chip’ and that is a universal emotion. :0) exercise is the ultimate anger-management tool, in my experience.

      Hi,
I thought the blog was insightful, funny, and open. I celebrate your self realization. It is indeed something to be acknowledged. It is with amazement that you have gotten some really bizarre comments on here that have been negative. I am a voluptuous goddess who experienced a hot chubby chaser.

So heres to you and your self realisation. You are going to make some woman very happy

  6. AnthonyNo Gravatar says:

As soon as I saw this post, it reminded me of Jimmy Carr’s Chubby Chaser joke. Here is a link to a 2 minute clip from his comedy central special. It is the last joke in the segment.

  7. RobertNo Gravatar says:

Yeah, man I like the big girls too.
I always got joked about by my friends.
My family sez it’s my insecurities.
They say I don’t think I good enough for skinny chick.
I just hate boney ass stick figures women built like pre-pubesecent boys.

On day I was in my car at the traffic light and saw this big girl running trying to catch the bus and I was staring at her HUGE, but shapley ass bouncing all over the place and the lady in the car next to me noticed my infatuation (and my drool) and she just busted out laughing at me.

    Kinda embarassing, but oh well.

  8. CarzNo Gravatar says:

I don’t think there’s anyone more sexy than a voluptuos, Monica Belluci-like woman. There’s nothing hotter than that.

  9. ClaudiaNo Gravatar says:

My new boyfriend told me he likes bow porn. Then he told me I am a bow. Wow, bit surprised. I didn’t think I WAS that big.
I came online to research what I wrongly presumed was a sick fetish. This page and many others have put my mind at ease. This is nothing more than a natural desire of men. Speaking out like this man has done is only needed because of the commercialization of women as sex images, right on with that prepubesent boy comment btw.
Now I’m excited to be with him even more! Smart enough to have his own opinion and not be brainwashed by Vogue.

  10. ShawnaNo Gravatar says:

I am a big girl but I still laughed out loud at the term “plumper humper.” I don’t care what anyone else says, that was funny!

  11. Lady LizNo Gravatar says:

Well I just wanted 2 say I thoroughly enjoyed reading this blog, it did make me feel better about myself! I was thin my w hole life, until I married n then had 2 kids n now the weight won’t go! Of course, I cannot stick 2 a diet or exercise…I hate both and LOVE 2 eat! And good food, 2, not lettuce and carrots, but bring on the fried chicken, donuts, cake, cookies, bbq ribs, etc. So, about 60 lbs. heavier with a lot less self esteem, this did make me feel better about being a thick chic! Thnx again!

  12. KamagraNo Gravatar says:

Beautiful women is fine but the factor big doesn’t sounds good to me.Yeah big women are ok but what if someone weighs 80kgs.

  13. ashNo Gravatar says:

I’m 5’10” and I weigh approx. 80 kgs and honestly, that’s not large. I’m curvy but I don’t consider myself obese. That’s all i can assume that your calling anyone who weighs 80kgs. Weight is a number not a definition, yes I weigh 80kgs but there are other factors to take into consideration.
I really cannot stand when people live by a number on a scale.

    • fatbutnotlazyNo Gravatar says:

insightful comment. weight is a number, not a definition. i am in great shape, have incredible legs and amazing breasts. i exercise regularly, eat a very healthy diet, and still manage to be overweight. i have a lot of muscle mass, because of the frequent cardio, so the idea of ‘overweight’ is absolutely subjective. i’m sure that, according to a chart somewhere, most body builders are overweight. i do have fat, it’s necessary anyway, and i have more than i’m sure is considered necessary. but it’s very sexy to my man, and i’m healthy, so my softness and curves are a good thing.

  14. ashNo Gravatar says:

and yes, good use of the term ‘plumper humper’

  15. rusty shackleferdNo Gravatar says:

nothing wrong with a chubby curvy girl. i happen to find a lot of bbws attractive, but now a days every fat girl seems to think she is one. im the kinda guy who likes a curvy girl, not a big sphere. they arnt curvy, theyre just fat. if you like those kind of girls, then your a chubby chaser.

  16. FoxyNo Gravatar says:

I just don’t understand why it has to be consider as almost….a fetish, just cause a guy is attracted to a girl that isn’t skinny. Why can’t he just think a big girl is hot? That always confused me. It’s kinda like preferring brunettes over blondes…no one makes a big deal over that.

But alas, I guess it’s true that intolerance for overweight people is the last accepted prejudice.

    p.s. I’m plush and proud.

  17. TkNo Gravatar says:

Dude, I’ve loved BBWs all my life and never heard of some of the phrases you used. Mind if I write them down?

  18. ChristineNo Gravatar says:

I just came across this article. I am what you could classify as a BBW, and what i have learned as a woman is if you are confident men of all sorts are attracted to you. Men are so less worried about womens weight then we are.I have a sister who looks like barbie, blonde, blue eyed, nice figure and alot of men have told me my sex appeal is much more enticing. So ladies if ya got the curves learn to love em πŸ™‚

  19. ElizabethNo Gravatar says:

You know we are a country that stands up for our social values,BUT we dont stand up for our values socially.I think its time people stop using each other to vent their own inner problems.Look at a person for the beautiful person they are.So what if a person is curvy or larger,,,I know alot of thin women with the personalities of a rag.and so that are wonderful,in turn i know bbw that are wonderful and beautiful inside and out.Sometimes the most wonderful and beautiful things are right in front of you.

  20. SPONTANENo Gravatar says:

    big women are the shit!!!!!!

  21. jhonNo Gravatar says:

i love bbw.they are are not liked by majority people in society. but they are fantastic

  22. RoxxNo Gravatar says:

This article made me laugh, it’s funny & light. It also helped bring up my self esteem, even if just a bit. I don’t know if I’m considered a bbw since I’m still a teen, 180 lbs. But eh. Thanks for the article.

  23. oliviaNo Gravatar says:

i was online today trying to find so sort of way i could a guy who is a chubby chaser, i’m only 16 but i feel like i’m 50 and never been kissed, so i’m really missing what it felt like to be hug or “touched” by the opposite sex (i don’t mean sex) the last person who hugged me who was a guy was my best friend of two years. long story short i had a huge crush on him and i knew he was gay…. so when i came across this it really made me feel better about myslef, and my weight, and this showed me that there was still some unshallow guys in the earth πŸ™‚ thanks!

    • fatbutnotlazyNo Gravatar says:

olivia, there are not only ‘unshallow’ guys in the world, but also some who wouldn’t have a thin girl if she threw herself at them. you are young and you will meet someone who not only loves you for who you are but for how lovely and fluffy your beautiful body is. think about this – two of the most adored female body parts are nothing but pure fat: breasts!! there is nothing in the world wrong with fat – only ‘wrong’ is in the minds of people who want to stand in judgement of you because of how much your body holds.
