Nutrisystem… a Month in Review… 10 lbs Down

nutriquoteI’ve been eating Nutrisystem food for almost a month now. Things are going very smoothly, but it didn’t start out that way. When I first received my box of Nutrisystem, I was about to go on vacation and decided to not start eating the food until after I got back. That pushed me back a couple of weeks from when I was originally supposed to start.

Upon arriving from my vacation, I was all over the place. I’d eat Nutrisystem for breakfast and lunch but not dinner. It took me about a week to get used to eating Nutrisystem. Once I got on track, I was set. Their food is delicious, especially the soups. I’ve never been a soup guy, but thanks to them I am seriously considering becoming one once I’m off of Nutrisystem. I’m used to eating soup when I’m sick. 🙂

Weight Loss To-Date on Nutrisystem
I was expecting to lose more weight than I have, but that’s okay. Slow and steady wins the race. I’ve lost about 10 lbs so far, which is pretty good in my book. I feel great, have more energy, get to eat tasty food, and my clothes are fitting looser. The weight loss is noticeable as well. And at the end of the day, that’s what I want: to look and feel great. Nutrisystem is helping me get there. I tend to let the scale get the best of me, but I’m slowly starting to move away from it. I weighed-in once a week since starting Nutrisystem, but I think I’m going to move away from that, possibly weighing-in every 2 weeks.

When I was in great shape, which I am confident I will achieve again, I did not weigh-in for months. I just exercised, ate right, and made healthy decisions on a daily basis. By the time 3 months had passed, someone saw me and said “wow”. I was surprised because in my head I was just doing my thing and going through my own little routine. That remark made me go weigh myself and I was astonished at the amount of weight I had dropped. So that is the approach I am going to take. If my weight loss is visible, then I’m doing something right.

I’m looking forward to the next few months of eating Nutrisystem, since I am extremely confident I can stick this and maintain one I am “off” of Nutrisystem.

Yeah I was always wondering about Nutrisysstem. I have heard both good and bad. I know my wife’s Uncle started doing it 2 years ago and he ate the whole month of food in a week or so. We still giggle about that.

But I guess it is like anything, if you put the time and work into the System you will no doubt see results.

I like Nutrisystem so far, I mean the key of any diet is to stick to it. The advantage of Nutrisystem is how easy it is to stick to it, or at least for me so far. I am a little worried about what I will do on vacation and the like but thus far it’s been good it plus Wii fit plus 1 week equals 5lbs gone
