BistroMD My Fuel for Fitness

Fuel Gauge“No citizen has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” – Socrates

Who do you think you are? Who do you think, people think you are? Who are you to the world? Who are you to your family? Who are you to your friends, your co-workers, business partner, acquaintances, etc? Who are you? And more importantly, who do you want to be?! Because ultimately each one of our individual lives has an effect in the grand scheme of this planet we have been blessed to live in.

What gives us the right to not do our part to contribute to the world? What gives us the authority to not push ourselves, to not master our talents, to not learn the true capabilities of our own selves? What gives us the right to not take care of what we are blessed to have? This body and this planet is our blessing, and it was made for us to flourish. I stand by Socrates wise words and attest that no single individual should have the right to be an amateur in physical fitness.

It may seem like a bold statement to make, but that does not change its validity. This world as a whole is counting on every living creature to do its part to continue the great cycle of life. So who are we to not do our part? And how can we do our part when most of us have bodies that tire quickly, or are not physically capable of completing simple daily tasks? And how can we ever be physically adequate if we fuel our bodies with garbage?

We fuel our bodies with all types of trash, it is truly unbelievable. If our bodies weren’t built so well, and we weren’t able to adapt so efficiently, most of us would probably die in our 30’s. Unlike an automobile that only runs on only certain types of fuel, our bodies are capable of turning almost anything we consume into fuel. However, the long term effect can be detrimental, and sadly most people never learn until it’s too late.

Now that I have been eating BistroMD for the last several months, I have noticed my body has been running better than ever. I am always the first one to catch a cold at this time of the year, and somehow I am the only one in my house who hasn’t gotten sick. That seems like a miracle to me! But it’s not a miracle, it all about the nutrition packed food BistroMD has been fueling me with, and the consistent physical training I perform daily. “Death to the Yo-Yo Life” is more than a slogan, it’s what I live by, and it’s what I’ll die by.

How inspiring! Yes, most people neglect the fact that we fuel our body with trash i.e junk foods. You are right. We have no right to neglect our bodies, our capabilities.
