It was some tough work climbing up (2300 feet total elevation gain - 950 feet above sea level highest elevation) but I was able to see Long Island Sound from the top so it was fun. Coming down was interesting; there were points where I was moving along at 4:13 pace. It was a bit steep. I didn't do any real drinking before the run, though. All I had a few mamosas an hour or two before hand. I actually got away for an 8 mile tempo run up to a castle in Connecticut. I was going to either bike ride or walk yesterday but after the wine started flowing so much for that idea. I doubled up on my walking Christmas eve (17k steps) and I'll have to do the same today.
