Dennis, I love your list. I am with you on some things like the six pack, but you can do that cross country walk without me.

I would not mind walking across the country. Didn't Fat Man Walking do that? He lost 100 lbs and got back in touch with his spirituality I think.

That's a good list, and in all honesty most of the items are certainly doable. If you want to be "rich" you just need to spend less than you earn. There are cheap ways to travel around the world. Read the Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss for tips on both of those goals.

I've given up on the 3-some fantasy - it was a good one when I was single, but it doesn't hold as much of an attraction now that I've found a wonderful woman to marry. I don't think I'd like sharing her, even if it was with another woman.

As for walking across the country, I missed an excellent opportunity to run from San Diego to DC back in 2004. In 1979, RIT (my alma mater) sent its cross country team across the country as a relay, so a bunch of current runners and alumni did the run again a few years ago. I decided not to quit my job to run it, but I think that I should have. Maybe in 2029 I'll be able to go along as a trainer or adviser. One of my friends that ran it as an alumni wrote a book that captures the experience pretty well if you are interested in reading it (<a href="http://news.runtowin.com/2006/05/03/coast-to-coast-book-review.html" rel="nofollow">my review of Coast to Coast</a>)
