		<description>you make a good point there. the thing is we have one meal a week that we let our selves indulge in. this week it was turkey italian sausage. i wasnt bad so it was fine. but i will take your advice on that and see what i come up with.</description>

8 pounds is a really big loss, I've only lost that much in the first week when I'm dropping retained water. I do have to agree with SK, that 2-3 pounds a week is awesome. ;)

Please, I do want to mention one tip....you wrote that you were, "Happy enough to be eating some Italian sausages for dinner as a reward". To keep that weight off that you've worked so hard at, what about making a list of non-food rewards for yourself? Like each week that you lose 2 pounds, or for each 5 pound loss, you get a new pair of running shoes, a new video game, a book, whatever floats your boat. Doesn't have to be expensive, just something you like. That way you're getting away from using food as a reward or as anything other than what it is - fuel. Of course you want to eat food that tastes good, too, but when you use it as entertainment, for a reward, for emotions, to relieve stress, etc., you can easily get back into those habits that helped you gain weight, know what I mean? :)

Keep on keepin' on Israel, you're really doing awesome. I bet that you're feeling just great!</description>
