Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng Review

Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng Pic

I am a strong proponent of only drinking water. Juice is a no-no and soda is an absolute sin. Want to lose weight and be healthy? Then don’t consume any liquid besides water, Period, no if’s and or buts. Stop being a pansy and accept the fact that water is Nature’s most perfect beverage. After water whole fruits are an excellent source of liquid nourishment. But if you simply can not resist and must consume beverages other than water I have a few alternatives I can suggest. Maybe this can be a good way to ween off the naughty drinks such as soda, carbohydrate loaded, sugar filled, non-nourishing juices or heaven forbid you are addicted to those demonic energy drinks! Take a walk on the healthy side with me as your guide.

In my never dying quest to uncover the world’s most perfect beverage I have come upon a very interesting product. I am referring to Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng. Arizona has hit it out the ballpark with extremely refreshing tea drink. I love the fact that the product contains Green Tea which is a tremendous anti oxidant and immunity booster. Ginseng being an ingredient is a bonus but I not convinced that its presence isn’t merely in trace amounts. Nevertheless it is a nice touch. Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng delivers 25% of your daily intake of Vitamin C, which keeps you going during hard workouts or just a demanding day at the office. All these factors combined with the low sodium profile of this drink, 20 mg or 1% of your daily value, make Arizona’s newest concoction a winner.

On a warm day or after a workout it is unbelievably invigorating without the drag or let down of more sugary drinks. Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng actually contains about one gram of sugar per 8 ounce serving. Honey is used as a natural sweetener a truly great move. But alas all is not perfect, a closer look at the label reveals that Splenda, the sugar substitute, is utilized as well inn lieu of real sugar. I am not a proponent of Splenda and aim personally wary of the long term effects of man made sugar substitutes.

But if your looking for a zero calorie refresher Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng is your beverage.

Drink Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng three times a day, once at 11:00am followed by a post lunch serving at 2:00pm and finally an after dinner serving at 6:30pm.

Pros
Taste Great
Contains Green Tea
Zero Calories, Zero Fat
Low in Sodium
Delivers 25% of you Vitamin C

Cons
Utilizes Splenda

The regular version I tried was the Green Tea with Ginseng and Plum Juice, and believe it or not, the diet green tea tasted better.

  5. I lost weight giving up sodas… Now I just drink water and green tea. But ginseng raises my blood pressure.

  6. LynnNo Gravatar says:

LOVE this stuff! Great blog by the way!

  7. SandyNo Gravatar says:

    Can it give you diarreah

  8. I agree, water is perfect!

I’ve always loved Arizona Green Tea; however, I started brewing green myself using the Lipton packets, and I use a small amount of honey to sweeten it. It’s cheaper, and you can control what goes in it.

  10. tylerNo Gravatar says:

I usually like to drink the green tea, but whenever I feel like spoiling my self I’ll go for the lemon or rasberry flavored tea with the extra sugar. Also the person above mentioned diarreah? not at all, it may have happened as your unhealthy within, but that will change the more you improve your diet.

  11. shaunjudyNo Gravatar says:

This stuff taste pretty good but I am trying to drink nothing but water as I work on my transformation. I will be drinking it again once I am done.

I disagree with the poster of this article. Tea, which is of course made with water, is the best drink to take in. You get the best of both worlds, therefor X2 your liquid intake experience.

Natural green tea is the way to go. It gives you a kick, and healthy as heck. There are different kinds of green teas, which is not really understood fully in the “West” (i’m in China at the moment), and all of them have weight loss properties.

Many times I have been told here, drink green tea. Green tea good for you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  13. CaricoNo Gravatar says:

I love the green tea but have not tried the diet verison. Does it taste like a diet drink? I guess it is probably healthier then the origianl version.

  14. DonNo Gravatar says:

I was SO dissapointed when I found out this had Splenda in it! I HATE SPLENDA! I was thinking this is the miracle drink until that. Eggghwww.

  15. laura ludwigNo Gravatar says:

I love this stuff – i see to live on it – here is my diet drink combo – 1/3 of each – green tea, water, acai berry juice – gives meenergy!

  16. I love the Arizona Gingsen Green tea. I usually drink the cans ; first time I see this hudge bottle.

  17. KellyNo Gravatar says:

To those wary of the fact that it contains Splenda:

There is less than 1gm of sweetener per 8 fl oz. That’s not bad. I just picked up the same size bottle at the store, today.

I also agree with Robert. I’m stationed in Okinawa, Japan and there seems to be a vending machine on every corner with green tea in it. Everyone here drinks green tea. Okinawa also has the longest life span, in the WORLD! The natives here aren’t usually obese.

I agree with the review, too! I think 3 cups a day is about right. I think this will be PERFECT to drink after relaxing from a tough workout or cardio session. Thanks for the review! Haven’t tasted mine, yet, but I love green tea. So excited to try it out!

WORRY ABOUT MY WEIGHT ALL THE TIME. LOST 50LBS. TWO YEARS AGO, AND WANT TO KEEP IT OFF. DRANK GREEN TEA HOT ALL THE TIME, AND ALSO DIET PEPSI, STARTED DRINKING ARIZONA GREEN DIET TEA PEACH FLAVOR, AND I HAVE LOST 5 LBS. IN TWO WEEKS, DOING NOTHING BUT “NOT” DRINKING THE DIET PEPSI, AND DRINKING THE DIET ARIZONA GREEN TEA WITH PEACH INSTEAD…WORKS FOR ME. AND I LVOE IT.

  19. michaelNo Gravatar says:

People should research these prepared teas. I’ve heard the polyphenols ECGC, which is what gives green tea all it’s benefits, don’t last long. I bet with all these products sitting in warehouses for a long time their isn’t much benefit.
Also read about the use of formaldehyde in the production of green tea and it’s negative effects on the body.

  20. TavaNo Gravatar says:

Those policy markers should impose ban on soft drink and encourrage people to drink green tea. I would say big “NO” to prepared tea

  21. TonyNo Gravatar says:

For a zero calorie drink this isn’t a bad alternative but a better one is to freshly brew green tea without the Splenda. Even though there’s no calories, one has to consider the effect of Splenda (which is not a natural sugar substitute) on the liver’s ability to process fat – if the liver is trying to process foreign substances like Splenda then it won’t process fat as well. This may be one of the reasons why Pat saw some improvement in switching to Pepsi since it has much more of the fake stuff than Arizona green tea. I choose water as my drink of choice.

    • jrNo Gravatar says:

This is old, but as I was reading through this you were the first person who actually pointed out the fatal flaw in using this product while attempting to lose weight. I’ve been dropping pounds and I attribute it completely to removing the junk I used to make my liver filter out.

  22. DonnaNo Gravatar says:

Love it, but does it contain any caffine >>

    • MarkNo Gravatar says:

Donna, it does contain caffeine. I have seen a decaffinated version in stores. Same label, but with a black background. However I don’t see it on the shelfs anymore.

      • MarkNo Gravatar says:

According the the Arizona website, the diet green tea contains 7.5mg of caffeine per 8 oz. serving, compared to 35-55 mg of caffeine in a 12 oz. cola.

  23. j mNo Gravatar says:

I believe this has much more than “trace amounts” of ginseng. This morning, I drank 3 cups of this, and my libido has been through the roof. No, I do not have ED or any other health issues. I am a normal 29 year old male. My desire to be gratified was so intense this morning, that I sent an email to my wife suggesting we both take off work the rest of the day. Of course, I did not mention the ginseng. I figured it was better if she just thinks that I find her irrestible and cannot stop thinking about her.

From now on, when I have to go to work, no more than 1 or 2 cups !

All in all though, I agree that this is a great, refreshing beverage that delivers an energy boost, while not making you feel tense as coffe does from time to time.

  24. Leila GriffithNo Gravatar says:

I love this stuff and it is better than dringing colas but I can’t find whereto buy it- I livein Nashville, TN.
    HELP ME PLEASE.

  25. PATTIENo Gravatar says:

i drink alot and i mean alot of the diet green tea..however im now wondering if one can drink to much? im diabetic and am worried about the use of splenda..and yes i know water is better for me but i love the arizona diet teas

Has anyone actually lost weight after drinking 3-4 cups a day?; for I have read that somewhere that you actually can. Im just asking (looking to lose 20 lbs.) Get back to me! Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

  27. AlysonNo Gravatar says:

A friend of mine got me hooked on Arizona Diet Green Tea. But unfortunately he can only get this when he travels to the United States! I live near Oakville, Ontario, Canada and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is somewhere to purchase it around here. Thanks for your help!!!

  28. Debra Sexton MohnNo Gravatar says:

I cannot find zero calorie green tea with ginseng (not honey) anywhere but Vons Market and it’s pretty expensive at that.
    Any suggestions?
